Country Coded Top Level Domains (ccTLD)

Governments have long used short codes to refer to entities within their domain. It is expected that the habit will not go away anytime soon. This creates Code Space conflicts which must be addressed for interoperability of metadata from Government sources.

A note on Language: Code Spaces have a language all their own, which is to say there is no linguistic content (ISO 639-2#zxx) to be discovered in coding conflicts.
