NIEM Linked Data Profile: [Planning]

Forward (c.f. notes)

          1. MADSRDF/SKOS Elements can be used to construct a table of graphs centered on a Root Node, denoted by a
NMTOKEN (Name Token). The Complex Element syntax is a right-directed graph:
               e.g. [Narrower Token]--[Peer Token]--[Broader Token].

          2. In this example, the Root Node is denoted by [Rule of Law]--[misc] or if you perfer, [NIEM Profile].
The point is to set up a topic list framework basis which is untainted by methods of data collection.
Awareness of the data classification scheme in use is a separate issue.

Constructing Text Topics for Linked Data

          2. In this example, the Root Node is denoted by [Rule of Law] or if you perfer, [The Rule of Nice],
[The Rule of Previous Experience], [The Rule of "this ends well"], or something similar. The point
is to set up a topic list framework basis which is untainted by methods of data collection. Data
             classification is a different issue.

From left to right, a right-directed graph , each relationship type has processing rules.

             A. Broader Than Relationships
                Denoted by:
                       ... [Rule of Law]--[misc]--[Token]
             B. Element Name Token, Variant Name Tokens, Peer Name Tokens
                Denoted by: ... [Token]--[Rule of Law] ...
             C. Narrower Than Relationships
                Denoted by: ... [Token]--[Rule of Law] ...
             D. Search Terms
Denoted by: [Term Token]--[PII Class Token]--[Rule of Law] ...

          3. This scheme results in a large number of combinations, even leaving out possible Search Terms and
             "crawling" related subjects.

          4. This implies a Right Outer Join on [Rule of Law], not an Inner Join on [Term Token]. The non-technical
consequence is that data gathered in the Open World has no taint and Open Data (re)issued by an authority
is declassified and (re)issued without corruption.

          5. The domain of Classification, [Term Token], lies always to the left of [Rule of Law]--[misc]. The
assignment of classes to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) taints the data with a made-up
class, or an arbitrary and random classification.

          6. The PII Namespace was developed to maintain an orderly inventory of recognized Term Tokens, to discourage
arbitrary classification, and, to discourage undemocratic "fly-over"; the marginalization of an
             arbitrary class.
